Damiane is one of three playable characters in Crimson Desert and joins the player’s roster partway through the main story. She is a speedy, precise combatant who fights with a rapier, shield, and dual firearms. Her signature move set includes a Captain America-style Shield Toss and Shield Sentinel, which converts her shield into a floating turret.

Kliff Macduff is the main protagonist of Crimson Desert and the leader of the Greymanes, a northern Pailune faction committed to peace and unity. After a devastating surprise assault by the rival Black Bears clan leaves his comrades dead or scattered, Kliff sets out to reunite the survivors, rebuild the Greymanes, and exact vengeance on the Black Bear chieftain Myurdin.

Oongka is the third and final playable character in Crimson Desert, and the last to join Kliff’s roster. A giant Greymane warrior and one of Kliff’s most trusted comrades, he survived the Black Bears ambush and reunites with Kliff late in the main story. Oongka is a pure bruiser — slower than Kliff and Damiane, but capable of cleaving through enemies.
