1. Acceptance of these terms

Welcome to GrindMeta. By accessing or using grindmeta.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Who we are

GrindMeta is operated by its owners ("we," "us," or "our"). GrindMeta is an independent, unofficial fan site providing community-authored guides, databases, tools, and references for video games, including Crimson Desert and No Rest for the Wicked.

3. Fan-site disclaimer and non-affiliation

GrindMeta is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pearl Abyss, Moon Studios, or any game publisher, developer, or rights holder. All game titles, trademarks, logos, images, and other intellectual property referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification, commentary, and informational purposes only.

We do not claim ownership over any game assets, names, lore, or content that belongs to its original rights holders. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, please contact us at [email protected].

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Accounts

Some features (such as saving builds) require you to create an account. When you do, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being misused.

6. User-generated content

The Site allows you to submit content such as builds, comments, and votes ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it you grant GrindMeta a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute that content on and in connection with the Site and our services.

You represent that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights and does not violate any law. We may remove User Content at our discretion.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or defame any person or entity.
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the security of the Site or bypass any access controls.
  • Scrape, spider, or use automated means to extract data beyond what our public API and robots.txt expressly allow.
  • Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Site or artificially inflate interaction metrics.
  • Use the Site to distribute unsolicited advertising or spam.

8. Intellectual property

Except for third-party game content described above, the Site's original content — including our original text, layout, design, graphics, code, and compiled data — is owned by GrindMeta or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without our written permission.

9. Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, and may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

10. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that information on the Site (including game data, guides, and tool outputs) is accurate, complete, or current.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL GRINDMETA, ITS OWNERS, OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GrindMeta from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Site at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
